Pex Hill Fun Day - Update - lost property

Hopefully everybody enjoyed the Funday on Saturday and the kids enjoyed playing football with other kids they normally wouldn't play with.

A large amount of organisation went into the day and many thanks to those who assisted with setting up on the day, preparing the pitches in the days before and helping on the day.

Particular thanks to the U15 squad who provided (allegedly dodgy) referees for the day.

Lost property

The following property was left at the end of the day - if it belongs to you, please contact me and I'll get it back to you as soon as I can:

• Blue Umbro boot bag containing red and black size 5.5 Nike boots, Everton shinpads, empty lucozade sports bottles, two mars bars and 20p
• Red unmarked sports bottle
• Blue NIKE hooded jacket with beige wooly inside - aged 7 yrs
• Grey GAP hooded jacket (GAP in red) - aged 6 - 7 yrs
• Black / Grey hooded ADIDAS top - Size Small (Adult/youth)(14/15 yr old??)
• Black Nike pro skintight top with label cut out

Players required U9 (next season)

Pex Hill Rovers (U9 next season) are advertising for new players to expand their squad.

Players must be school year 4 this coming September and be committed to training and playing weekly and having fun playing football as part of a team.

World Cup Competition 2010

The Club are holding a World Cup competition to raise funds for the Club. £2 per entry and the winning prize is £50 + £20 for the highest player.

Quiz Night 10/04/2010

Congratulations to the Pex Hill Rangers U11 team (Sandra) who were victorious at the recent annual quiz night.

A good evening was had by all and nearly £300 raised for club funds.

BAGPACKING Morrisons 24/01/10

£1,062.50 (and two euros!!)

Many thanks to those players, parents and managers who gave up their time in support of Club funds at the Morrisons bag packing.

A fantastic amount raised from 6 hours work.

Of note was the comments from the management that the kids were extremely well behaved and "a credit to the Club"

Charter Standard DEVELOPMENT status

Young Leader awards for Pex Hill players

Congratulations to Joshua Rosenberg (U10 Blues) and Charlie Burdekin (U12 Juniors), both of whom were presented with the "Young Leader Award" in a ceremony hosted by the Mayor of Halton and held at the Halton Stadium.

An amazing achievement by two young footballers.

Hopefully more Pex Hill players will participate in the award which will be held again next year (26th and 27th July 2010) - details on Halton Borough Council website.

Race Night

The Race Night has been arranged for Saturday the 14th November 2009 at the Masonic Hall, Kingsway, Widnes.

7:30pm for an 8pm start.

Races, raffles, £ in the bucket, bar, kid's bar, Merchandise stall (bring your chequbook).

U11 players wanted Pex Hill Rangers

Pex Hill Rangers (U11 next season) are looking for players to supplement their squad.

Players must be in the current school year 5 and be prepared to attend training weekly and play in league matches next season.
